Yesterday was working from 5pm-11pm den this morning was 11am-2pm.Working location taxi stand is located at North Bridge Road Outside Capitol Centre.In front was a church called St Andrew Catheral.Reached there at 4.30pm and started to rain heavily.The taxi quene there is not compared to Bugis,Ngee Ann City or Far East Plaza.The taxis there are alway there.. 5 taxis in a quene which is only for 2 taxis.All are waiting instead of driving around and not getting any passengers, waste of petrol.There were taxi driver talking to me that business is bad,everybody dun want to sit taxis.Even Bugis has more taxis den passengers.We dun noe yet if the fars hike does affect the business..It is too short term..Maybe in a month or two,we will see the effects.

If it dun not turn good for taxi drivers,it is partly their fault for the fare hikes because when the CBD charges was only $1,everybody go play cat and mouse game,hiding to wait for people "On Call" so that they can earn extra $4.00 which can make them earn $5 total.

Now... To attract taxi drivers,they had this CBD $3 charges but everyone doesn't wan to pay that extra money for no reason.

The 20cents jump was even worse.I tried to took a cab back from school and it cost $4.20 but the uncle charge me $4.00.Last time only $3.20-$3.50.

Den was working when this uncle talk to me about he having 2 daughter,1lawyer and 1 under-grad.Every month lawyer give him $4,000 and go to many places overseas...He ask me to study hard..

Some drivers are funny.. Some dun smile at all.. This is LIFE!
