Just ended two day of work at Harbour Front and Vivo City.
The last two day of the 7days survey is completed but heard from Boss likely there is more to come but not confirm.
I really don't know whyy do people have such patience to wait 1hour pus for a taxi. but it was sure a tiring two day man, had less than 5hours of sleep.
Friday, At Harbour front, started work at 0700hrs-1200hrs and then went back home to rest before heading for the second shift at 1800hrs-0000hrs, after work, Boss came to pick us up and reached home about 0100hrs, went to bed, by 0530hrs was out of bed, getting ready for saturday work at 0700hrs-1200hrs again. haha.. then headed back home and rest,managed to catch some sleep otherwise!!!! then headed down to Vivo to work from 1900hrs-2300hrs.
Finally, work for January has ended and will continue on with Traffic Counting Survey on Monday and Wednesday and by tmr Babyy is back in Singapore!!
BUSY till Chinese New Year, all rushing to clear it.

Now I finally know whyy..

whyy Vivo City Taxi Stand need two surveyor...

The Queue is damn...

this is taken at 8plus. the queue is about the length of 10taxis man!

and the area is veryy dark.. and the lightning are not good man.

'WAR' is over, finally! 'battling' for about 5hours, is over but still got one more to go. Vivo City, listed, worst taxi stand!!

the lightning around there is dark and dim, the people keeps coming and the only best part is, it is a windy place. HAHA..

Doing so many places, think this was one of the worst, could go up to 150people at one point of the time.I just don't understand, since there are many people there, whyy taxi drivers don't go there? They rather wait for ON CALL to come in. LTA should consider doing something to drivers who don't fetch passengers or drive away.

Work Week
BUSY JANUARY!

okayy, been rather busy with my traffic survey jobs! after my first week of taxi survey at town area,

13/Jan/2010- Travelling time survey at KPE.Survey was to conducted the travelling time from one point to another point and my partner was Boss Jimmy. HAHA.. Started work at 7am and was picked up at Khatib mrt at 6am. Sitting in the car for 3hours, circulating around KPE,TPE,ECP,Fort Rd,Tampines Rd... total time sitting was 4hour plus,Boss even joke about the time we did was the duration to drive up to KL, enough to burn your ass.

After that was followed by taxi survey at HDB areas. As usual 4days full.
Causeway,Harbour Front,Causeway,Century Square.(15/Jan/2010-18/Jan/2010)
Much lesser passengers than the previous time I did during the December holiday.

Traffic Classified Vehicular Survey
Yishun Area.

Yishun Ring Road,Yishun Ave 2 and 5,Yishun Street 20.
Working hours was 4hours, 2hours each, in the morning and evening, during the peak hours obviously.

Speed Survey(forgot the name of the survey)

Lentor Ave.

This was a new survey added to the company by LTA. This survey is to check the average travelling speed and was the first guy to try out this survey and the speed gun. The speed gun was quite light but when holding for long hours, the hand sure aches man!

Was told to do it at Lentor Ave and the was told to 'hide' and do so that drivers wouldn't take note of me and slow down, affecting the accuracy of the survey. And obviously there are some drivers who were in job to look out for this kind, one of them managed to see me and stop at the bus lane(restricted area at that point of time) and asking for identification and why wasn't I in safety vest.after much explaining,he didn't give me face and called the office and complain and obviously there was no time to entertain such people and just listen and forget about it.

Regretted didn't take picture of him stopping at bus lane and let LTA fine him!!!

After traffic survey, taxi survey is coming up straight after that.

IR is opening and three taxi stands has been affected and picked as the 'taxi stand for the IR' so, taxi survey will be conducted from 7am-12noon and 6pm-12am respectively. Duration for the taxi survey is about 7days starting from Wednesday(20/Jan) to Sunday(24/Jan) and then Saturday(29/Jan) to Sunday(30/Jan). not doing for the first three days as was told to help out for the traffic survey.

Will be working the morning shift for sure then helping out as second surveyor for both Saturday in the evening shift as Vivo City requires two surveyor to run it survey due to high high population.

something we do things is not for the sake of others but is for your own self.

O Level Result Out!

went to school to get back result today together with Aloysius, because both of us didn't went to school to take on the officially release day because we had work. Take whichever day also the result will be the same de mah. haha..
quite shocked with my result because my brother didn't really score! haha.. Disappointed man bro!
L1R4- 19 points. L1R5-24 points.
Had limited courses because i failed combined science. expected a F9 but got a E8. english was a D7 and the rest were B3.
trying for SP, Maritime Business but chances quite slim but give it a go bah. will know the posting by 27 January.

5am, wakeup and bath.
Mum came knocking the door; " Kor, You just come back arh? " haha.. I was home late last night around 12.50am and the whole house was sleeping. See, My mum was soundly asleep. haha..
Then cycle to Khatib to meet Boss at 6am.
today, I spend 4hours sitting in the car. Ass went numb man!
3hours circulating around KPE up and down, doing some kindd of traveling time survey.
Even Boss was tired and wanted to sleep. HAHA.. damn funny.
Suppose to have another 3hours in the evening but because of the bad weather, they decided to cancel the survey. Otherwise another 3hours and butt aching (=
tmr also having traffic counting survey and then friday to monday starting the taxi survey again. haha.. busy man! (=

Soccer at Tampines Safra, lose 7-1 and had my Laser90 boots 'crocodile mouth'
Celebrated youngest brother birthday early by one day as having work tmr so nobody is free to celebrate for him. Cut a small fruit cake.

8/Jan/2010
Work at Paragon. My God, first time working there, for the first time, morning shift was left being so busy.30over people at the stand in the morning queuing for cab but lucky there were quite a number of cabs that day.

9/Jan/2010
Work at Orchard Towers. For the first time i work there, got no people, as in lesser people and cabs were waiting for passengers while normally passengers wait for cab.although there were quite a number of prostitutes on the street but there were fewer men, so equal to No Business.

10/Jan/2010
Work at Suntec City. Had a little problem in the morning when my schedule said my location was at Marina Square so went to Marina Square and at 11am, realised that there was another surveyor there working. Called Boss to clarify and he made a mistake that my location was supposed to be at Suntec Tower 3 & 4. Rushed to Suntec and reached my location at 11.12am, 12minutes 'late' The place was quite quiet but there were still quite a number of people taking cabs and the waiting time was like 1hour for the longest wait while others just call for cab.

Release of O's Level Result but couldn't attend it because having work. quite shocked by the outcome.
Brother got 17 for R5 man, damn scare and my dad was like telling me : 'Jordan got 17,like that you not get 20over points?' but I was going to prove him wrong. I'm getting the result tmr (=

Work at Paragon. Last Day to conclude this week survey. My god, to think there were still quite a number of people though is a working monday, expected maybe a fall in ridership but still the same just that there was no queue until 9pm for a short while before it went into 0min waiting time. haha..

Went to take my result in the morning, was quite pleased with it, although could have been better but there is no time for regrets.got a r4 -19 and r5 - 24.
Mum was okayy with my result, below 20leh!
Babyy, didn't hit your target!
today Mum birthday and was treated to a good meal at Manhattan Fish Market. it was great food, big serving, can't finish even though sharing with my Mum.after dinner,went for a mahjong session at Lun place's with Malcom,Me and Babyy and luck wasn't by our side man, everybody winning one round each until about 10.30pm, went to my house to cut cake.
after eating the cake,continue the mahjong until 11.50pm before sending Babyy home and home sweet home, got work tmr and need to wake up at 5am!

COPS!? Where are they?
A few days ago, I was watching cable tv StarWorld.,channel 18. the show was called COPS. and they were filming at a location where they was celebration and the moment girls show their boobs or guys molesting, the cops there just pinned that guy on the floor and lock him up for a day. straight away, on the spot, in front of the public, 4cops just pinned the guy down on the floor hard and handcuffed him. I don't seem to see our cops doing that..

at the end of the day,
if you are going to such places, you are just awaiting for it to happen to you.

Happy New Year everyone! It's 2010!
a new year, new beginning, new resolutions!
went to Bugis to eat steamboat, oh my, it is one of the worst i ever eat... even Lun ate like... 20minutes and his appetite went like shit..
even mine, but had to eat to recoup back the $18 price.
the drinks dispensers even had baby cockroaches crawling around it, and the foods are like, leftover... my god.. to think the place was crowded during dinner time. that is the last time we going that restaurant to eat.

after eating, headed to Bugis Street to buy bermudas and then walked to Marina Square. slack there, went to play arcade at Suntec City before heading to Marina Square to wait for Mr & Mrs Lim. then went to meet LiangKang and while walking past the CityHall mrt station, we merely stop for few seconds and was told by the 'policeman' to clear the area and then, his 'supervisor' happened to walk past and guess what...
this 'supervisor' was very very rude.. to think my dad and family members pay taxes....
His tone was like very fucked up kindd: 'Please go away, don't stand here' and we were about to walk but couldn't because of the human traffic blocking us, the 'supervisor' went: 'You waiting for Santa Claus isn't? or need me to carry you out?'
okayy, even if we blocked the way, there is not a need to speak in this tone right? MANNERS!?!
what the fuck?
everybody mood was spolit by that 'supervisor'
after that, we walked towards Hitachi Tower and then we went separate ways, with me and Babyy going toward the Merlion area and was SQUEEZED!!!!!!!!!! haha.. a bad choice, afterall, the bridge area was still the best lor. Sorry Babyy, My fault (=
Don't worry, next year will be better okayy? same place, the bridge.
